Slow Day

Another warm day. The snow and ice are melting pretty quickly. Two more 40+ degree days coming. I expect that the snow will be gone by the end of the week. We were talking this morning, and if our memory is right, we have had snow on the ground since deer season, which is begins after Thanksgiving.

Other than that, plumbing work at the renovation.

A friend died today, which was sad news.

Don't feel much like writing today, and so I won't.

Have a good evening folks.

  1. Sorry to hear of your Friend's Passing. I just found out this Month that an Industry Friend Died last Month, everyone else knew about it, I didn't, but then again, I was dealing with my own Health Issues and was rather Sidelined since Christmas.

  2. Musk won't let me watch the YT clip, but I can see a still and it's a news report from MSNBC.
The Ikea joke is funny, in a time where things aren't so funny at all. I bet your political comedians have so much content to choose from.

  4. I would choose the guillotine, does a better job. I would do muskrat first and make the orange baby watch. Next while he is crying, do him. Then put both heads in front of the republican politicians and tell them, do your job, for the people . After selling out Ukraine I fear we in Canada are next . Putin will get his country and trump wants us. I am glad we are quite close to China and the European allies as we might need them. USA is now our enemy. Gigi

    1. I believe me, Gigi. Totally understood. There's a whole batch of people in my own country who do not trust our leaders.

  8. We discovered yesterday that an old friend of ours had died. It is a sad shock, isn't it?
The video was very good at pointing out how insane and inept the current president is. Good for Macron! And good for Lawrence.

    1. It is so disconcerting, isn't it, the death within our own circles. That video was a good one.

  9. My sympathy on the loss of your friend. Virtual hugs. It's hard to lose our contemporaries. Our yard looks like a swamp right now with melting snow and puddles.

  11. So sorry for the loss of your friend Debby, losses are hard enough at any time, but worse now. That Eagle is an excellent representation of me at the moment.

  12. Yup! I am the eagle! I am sorry about the passing of your friend. It brings a person up short when it happens. That Hegseth clip you posted was infuriating. Interesting how he's gone from a Fox talking head to someone who doesn't wash his hands because he can't see the germs. He said that on air. There is just so much to take in, 47 is a master at flooding the zone, makes a person wonder what they've missed. Happy plumbing, hope it goes well.

I'm glad you're here!

He's still talking.

And this is what we need to see, right here.  It's not only that he's talking, but that he's speaking eloquently. He has not ha...
