For all who celebrate it, Happy Thanksgiving.
Jennifer?
Mr. Bean?
It's been a tough year, but we have a great deal to be thankful for.
Like the fact that no one's going to be wearing a turkey on their head.
LATE EDIT: NOT ONE OF YOU CORRECTED ME! MONICA WORE THE TURKEY HEAD!!!
I wish you a happy Thanksgiving. We all have much to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be a fine thing if the whole world could stop what it is doing, just to be thankful?
DeleteWell, you don't EXPECT anyone to be wearing a turkey on their head, but who knows what could happen?! Happy Thanksgiving. :)
ReplyDeleteWell...what I know about my family is that they like to eat. We'd consider it a waste of a perfectly good bird!
DeleteEnjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteI will, Jaycee.
DeleteSeeing someone wearing a turkey makes me feel ill . . . Have a g ood day.
ReplyDeleteI can see where it would.
DeleteEnjoy your Thanksgiving Day. Were it happening here today, I doubt I would be heaving a gigantic turkey around - either on my head or into the oven!!! Cheese on toast it is then :)
ReplyDeleteNever had the slightest desire to wear a turkey on my head! I do like a nice slice of cheddar on toast, though.
DeletePoor old turkeys with their gobbley goose noises. Have a happy time on this Thanksgiving Day.
ReplyDeleteMy contribution to the 'do' is a 20 lb turkey, a roaster of gravy, cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole, so it is light duty, comparatively speaking. The turkey is prepared and ready to be put in the oven. The stock is simmering gently in the roaster. It will be a fun afternoon.
DeleteI do love the Thanksgiving Song.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day, Debbie! And remember- lampshades belong on heads, not turkeys.
I believe the correct response is 'whoop ai ay.' Happy thanksging to the clan of the Moons.
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Debby! Enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteIt will be a fun day.
DeleteJust once I'd like to attend a Thanksgiving wear someone wore a Thanksgiving on their head.
ReplyDeleteLol. Maybe it should be you!
DeleteEnjoy your day the very best way you can!
ReplyDeleteLots of food. Lots of family. The best way to celebrate it.
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you & yours!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteBack archa, pretty sure you are from this side of the pond.
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you & yours and may all your turkeys be on your plate and not on your head!!
ReplyDeleteNo turkeys on anybody's head at this house. What about yours?
DeleteNone here either, spatchcocked Cornish Game Hens are on the menu, too small for an adult head. :)
DeleteHappy thanksgiving, Debby. Wishing you and your family all the best.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kelly. I hope you've had a great day in Arkansas.
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving..despite everything, we all have plenty to be thankful for xx
ReplyDeleteWe do. I look around this world and I know how fortunate I am. I wish that I could wrap that good fortune up and give it to every person in the world.
DeleteI'm not a big Adam Sandler fan when it comes to his acting but I do enjoy his satirical music work.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see that episode. Gracious! I hope you both had a happy Thanksgiving. Mine is yet to come next Saturday. The stress is starting.
ReplyDeleteIt’s enough to make you lose your mind, isn’t it? I’m finding myself pretty depressed about the state of this country for quite a while now.. not just this country, but the whole world! To end this on a good note: I’m so grateful to have a roof over my head, and a safe place to live. Sending you good wishes! -Ricki
