  1. That is indeed good news, lets hope the ordeal has no lasting effects on the little girl.

  2. It was brilliant news and dependent on a finger print.

  3. Absolutely! It was really sad getting those Amber alerts.. it starts you thinking about how the parents (and the kid!) must be feeling! So glad she’s back home ❤️

  4. It is great news and certainly not the outcome I expected two days ago. But I think there is more to this story as I heard the perpetrator lives only 15 miles away from the little girl and they were 100+ miles away from both their homes when the abduction occurred.

  5. A happy ending, it seems, to something that could've gone so very differently and often does. Thank goodness.

  7. Amazing that they identified the suspect from a fingerprint on a ransom note.

  8. Yes! And such a bizarre story. Thankfully the criminal was an idiot when he left that ransom note using his own car.

  9. This was in our media here in UK. I don't understand that if the police watched someone drop off the note, why didn't they get them there and then, or at least follow??

    1. There is quite a bit of discussion about there very thing right now. It is being described as an embarrassment to local police.

  10. I am glad they were able to follow the man and find the little girl. I think that is how they found her; different news tells different stories. She may have been found by the wrong people and this would have turned out different.
