Woke up in the night with body aches, headache, sore throat and burning nose.
Ignored it, went back to sleep.
Strange, strange dreams.
Woke up this morning with body aches, headache, sore throat and burning nose.
Short answer: I don't know.
I can say for sure that I haven't been anywhere since last Saturday.
Oh gosh. Hope you feel OK soon Debby.
ReplyDeleteSounds horrible - Get Well soon
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Debby.
ReplyDeleteHopefully it’s a cold or sinus infection. Keep us posted and hope you’re better soon.
ReplyDeleteI meant to say maybe it’s ONLY a cold or sinus infection; I’m not wishing anything on you!
ReplyDeleteI too am hoping that it is anything but xxx
ReplyDeleteSpeaking from recent experience, it started off for me as just a scratchy throat for about three days before proceeding to a fever and body aches for a couple more. Then about five days after the first scratchy throat, the fever broke, the body aches went away and I've felt fine ever since. No shortness of breath or anything like that fortunately. I have a blog post lined up on the experience here in another week.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you had it. My sister came to drop some things off. She's a nurse and had direct contact but she was masked and we kept the kitchen table between us, no hugging when she left.
ReplyDeleteBut really, I've been responsible. Still have the headache and the sore throat and the scratchy nose. No fever as of yet. I can still smell and taste.
How are the kids and your man? Maybe they came in contact with something and maybe they are symptomatic but sill passed it to you. I am just saying symptomatic in terms of other germs, not you know what.
ReplyDeleteYour symptoms sound very similar to how my bout of Covid started, which was similar to what Ed said, then I tested positive five days later, sense of smell went about a week after that then shortly after all food and drink tasted horrible, and still does over a month later. Like Ed, my breathing remained OK, which is the main thing. I hope it is not the Covid, but the question would be how would you catch a cold, given your isolation and that colds are apparently less infectious? Hoping for the best though, but if you do get it remember almost everyone gets through it ok.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're OK! If there's still no fever that's a good sign, I think...?
ReplyDeleteOh dear... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. This is a scary time.
