You know, I've been struggling lately as I watch my country fall apart before my very eyes. (And so many people can't even see it!) I do what I can, but realistically, I can effect no real change. Just add my voice.) And yet, it seems so selfish to turn my attention away. His remark about Buddha having 84,000 hands...and which ones are mine put it into perspective for me. We focus on each other, and do the work that we are in a position to do.
I watch these videos from 'Reflections from Life' and enjoy them very much, it is South African I think. As for the title, I am not sure there is a consistent answer!
There are a number of videos in the collection, and they cover a variety of topics. I intend on watching them regularly. They add a balance that is sorely needed in the chaos of these days.
I never had a relationship like that with my ex-husband which is why he is my ex-husband. I don't have partner like that to share love with but I do have family and friends that I care for and depend on.
I watch these regularly and agree they are helpful for my current frustrations with our country. Somehow it just helps me put one foot in front of the other and carry on. Thanks for posting it for everyone.
What a beautiful video..! I haven’t watched all of it yet, but I really enjoyed what I’ve seen so far🥰 Best wishes to you both for the coming week- it must be a little hard planning for your upcoming surgery- but I’m sure you’ve got it under control! (Right??) xo, Rigmor
Yesterday I was moving a shelf in the cold rain, tweaked my back, and am walking like a orangutan. If that's what you mean by 'all under control', well, I am killing it, Rigmor!😒
There is much food for thought here, Debby. Thanks so much for sharing it. You are doing more than you may think. Your light shines bright in these dark days.
How wonderful. Great advice

DeleteI watch these, too! You beat me to this one. Wasn't it wonderful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI thought that it was. So many things draw our attention from our relationships, and I saw the importance of not allowing that to happen.
DeleteThank you. Humbling and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThey look like such joyful people. That is what drew my attention first.

ReplyDeleteDon't they just look like the happiest people?

ReplyDeleteIt is just too crazy. We need to have a place to retreat to, to recharge.
