Today is Pat's 90th birthday.
Yesterday was supposed to be her birthday open house.
The days pass in silence at her blog.
Last night, I woke up and I lay in the dark hoping that she received my birthday card and letter. The internet does weave us all together, doesn't it?
LATE EDIT: IT'S ALSO DOUG'S BIRTHDAY.
Stop over and wish him a happy one, because he's in the hospital.
I hope she has just been busy celebrating but her silence is a worry.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Pat, wherever you are.
That would be such a wonderful gift to us all, to find out that she's been celebrating and too tired to post.

ReplyDeleteWho is weft and who is warp?
Well...I am warped and which means that you're the only one 'weft'.
DeleteI made an attempt to connect with her but it did not succeed. I did think she was a nice and interesting person. There is much concern about her and I think bloggers need to have someone to pass on a final message. I hope that is not needed now for Weaver in the Grass.
ReplyDeleteI've never really thought about it before, but I think that you are right.
DeleteI hope she's okay.
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteWe are all a global group of penpals! I love reading about all of you and sharing your lives. Thank you blogger! and Happy 90th Birthday to Pat!
ReplyDeleteWe are a nice group, aren't we?
DeleteI hope all is well. I don't know or read Pat but I'll send her good birthday vibes all the same.
ReplyDeleteGood vibes are always a good thing.
DeleteI'm afraid I didn't know Pat, but I hope she's just recovering right now. It's always sad not knowing when a blogger suddenly goes silent. But I did send Doug birthday wishes.
