So did the newspapers.
Nationwide, they are saying seven million people mobilized so far, making it the largest protest in the nation's history.
We are pleased to have been a part of it.
Can you pick Tim and I out?
No Faux King Way.....can pick you out....
ReplyDeleteLol. It is the sign I carried for the first no king day.
DeleteGreat showing! Thanks for the coverage.
ReplyDeleteWhat was it like in your neck of the woods?
DeleteAwesome! Wonderful pics Deb, good for you and Tim! 😊
ReplyDeleteNot my pictures. Shamelessly stolen from Facebook. I was surprised to see Tim and I too.
DeleteNice! Are you the one holding the No Faux King Way? If so that would be Tim next to you.
ReplyDeleteThat is us.
DeleteNice to see what you look like. It's obvs not such a big thing here in UK, but I hope that all the protesting has a positive effect.
DeleteLove your sign!!! I am feeling more encouraged day by day. So grateful.
ReplyDeleteLove your sign! We are feeling more encouraged every day.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what happened as the first one didn't show up so I tried again. Anyway- well done!!!!!!
DeleteI have really been struggling with commenting myself. Usually my comment doesn't take.
DeleteGreat showing! My boyfriend and I went to a park in Tacoma, WA. The weather was supposed to be rainy, yet it was a huge crowd. I was surprised by how many young people and men were there. Somehow I wasn't expecting that. It was comforting!
ReplyDeleteIt sure was. The reaction from the cars going by was awfully encouraging.
DeleteLove your sign! That was a huge turnout today. The orange one must be so proud.
ReplyDeleteHe loves to talk about the crowd sizes.
DeleteYou get the sign award today Debbie! So appropriate! I am encouraged. Especially watching the MAGATS losing their s**t over it, & I'm here for it!!
ReplyDeleteThere was a motorcycle rider glaring around at everyone. Failed to notice the Cadillac in front of him stopped when the light changed. He almost went onto her trunk. I thought to myself, 'wow! 'Carma'!
DeleteWould have been perfect! "Debby", sorry about the misspell. :)
DeletePfft. Who cares. You two be safe on the road.
Deletecongratulations for getting out there and demonstrating.
ReplyDeleteIt was such fun, Red. Turns out that we are not nearly as terrifying as MAGA would have us believe!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good turnout, good to hear of the support.
ReplyDeleteI think that, more than anything, did my heart good. initially, months back, the protests got most silence or insults from passing traffic. Things have changed a great deal.
DeleteI love the witty signs and it is nice to see what you both look like.
ReplyDeleteThat is us.
DeleteHow lovely to see a photo of you both. (You are not how I pictured you in my mind). Isn't it funny how we conjure up images of people just from their words.
ReplyDeleteNice to finally meet you, what a wonderful show of decent people who love their country and want to stop all the orange ones stupidity, as he bullies those who dare to speak and vindictively go after those who he can't silence. He is trying to be a dictator, I won't say a King as that would insult the royal families around the world who care for the countries.
ReplyDeleteGood for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it went off safely and was well supported.
ReplyDeleteWell done, pleased there was so much support.
