No Kings

There were between 300-400 people today at the rally. For our little town, it was a pretty big deal. What amazed me the most was the cheering and honking from the cars. For the first time, I saw business semi trucks tooting their horns in solidarity. A lot of public support.

Local news picked it up.

Erie News Now coverage of 10.18.25 NO KINGS RALLY in Warren!

So did the newspapers.

Nationwide, they are saying seven million people mobilized so far, making it the largest protest in the nation's history.

We are pleased to have been a part of it.

Can you pick Tim and I out?

    1. Nice to see what you look like. It's obvs not such a big thing here in UK, but I hope that all the protesting has a positive effect.

    2. I have really been struggling with commenting myself. Usually my comment doesn't take.

  7. Great showing! My boyfriend and I went to a park in Tacoma, WA. The weather was supposed to be rainy, yet it was a huge crowd. I was surprised by how many young people and men were there. Somehow I wasn't expecting that. It was comforting!

    1. There was a motorcycle rider glaring around at everyone. Failed to notice the Cadillac in front of him stopped when the light changed. He almost went onto her trunk. I thought to myself, 'wow! 'Carma'!

    1. I think that, more than anything, did my heart good. initially, months back, the protests got most silence or insults from passing traffic. Things have changed a great deal.
