I do not have much to talk about, unless you want to hear about house cleaning. 3 miles on the treadmill. Signing up for a fitness program. The joy of watching little tomato, pepper, and cucumber plants emerging from the dirt on their table in front of a window.
Nah. I wouldn't want to hear about it either.

How do you feel about the 200 billion that Congress is asking--nah, I'd rather hear about your tomato and pepper plants.
ReplyDeleteAt least this is brief. I need brief this morning. 😁
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring! I have one daffodil blooming this morning. The first one of the year! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm doing this tomorrow, Saturday, 3/21: The Great Synchronization - Peace, Love, Unity, Respect. Here's a link:

and next week: 3/28 No Kings rally: https://www.nokings.org/
Well, that works for me. Sounds like my kind of day ...
ReplyDeleteI love to hear about little plants emerging, very hopeful.
ReplyDeleteWrong! I enjoy hearing it all. It's the quotidian life that fills all of our worlds, and the small differences between them that fascinate.
ReplyDeleteIt's life, and should be celebrated.
ReplyDeleteActually I would love to hear about your emerging plants, a welcome respite from the ongoing shitshow that is the trump administration. Cheers!!
ReplyDeleteI like hearing about normal things. There is far too much 'abnormal' going on in the world at the moment.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Looking for relief from the loathsome sector, so have sound off on TV watching the market slide. Now nearly 5000 points down since Bondi opened her mouth. Kris in Ohio
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see little green baby leaves poking up through gentle dirt. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteI'm stealing that meme.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm setting up my tomato plants so one of us would be interested.
ReplyDeleteThe meme is good. I am sure I've been in that position.
ReplyDeleteI would have liked to hear about it all. ;)
ReplyDeleteSounds like my yesterday, had to brush a coating of slush off my car, being very careful to not fall. The only reason that I was out was to det stitches removed from my face.(more skin cancer removal) since I had the car moving anyway, i went to the bank to cash a cheque and then did a little walk around the grocery store. I then came home and did nothing but eat and watch TV. Not regular TV, that upsets me too much so I now watch You Tube or Netflix. I also watch the planes taking off and landing at Toronto Pearson Airport. We are on the landing track for one of the runways so I can follow the planes on flight radar as the go over my house. That is my nothing day, Debbie. Gigi
ReplyDeleteI bought new shoes (that might be a whole blog because I am that boring). While I was out of town at a shoe store ICE stopped a targeted car and took two young women. I am not sure of their status but their older sister is DACA and works as a translator at our Human Services Dept. I know mom is undocumented and one sister has two school aged children born here. Mom can't ask for custody, it is my understanding that the DACA sister can't ask for custody so they are working with an aunt in a nearby county. No one knows where the sisters are. Only the DACA sister could be legally employed and was supporting everyone.
ReplyDeleteAs we used to say when I worked in newspapers, "There are no boring stories -- only boring reporters." (And you are not one!)
ReplyDeleteSounds a little like a relaxing day. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad that the sun has decided to shine in our little valley.
