  8. Ooh - maybe a Melbourne Cup baby! 'Salina was a Melbourne Cup baby. Love that you are putting meat on your old friend's bones and that Tim got rid of one of the trucks.

  10. So excited for you!!!!! We had what my town calls "Fall Trash Pickup" when people clean out their garages and sheds for days before the event and other people drive around and pick up your items. This year I had 3 Little Tikes cars (that none of my grandchildren can fit into) a little slide and a couple ride on toys, two strollers and two car seats with 3 years before expiration - I did share that so no one would trash them. We also got rid of my 3 year old stove that I replaced because I didn't like it and I am a spendthrift who spoiled herself. I put it on my facebook page free for the taking (there is nothing wrong with it and Mr Merry was going to put it out for scrappers) One of my former 4H girls is married with 3 kids and was cooking on a stove with one working burner - success! They picked it up 2 days ago and now he can reach the snowblower in the shed.
All that to say I am so jealous you are getting a NEW baby to spoil and I am giving away my baby toys. Boo hoo.

    1. No no no! No new babies! I am being grandma to two lovely little girls. I watched the oldest dance one of her parts in the nutcracker ker. I made meatballs with the youngest. The oldest is sick right now, and I have a feeling the youngest is coming down with it too. We had a spooky dinner no one felt like eating, but we had fun making, and curled up to watch a movie ie they have seen many times, but love. I put the youngest to bed and she said 'I love you so much grandma.' Sweetness overload. The oldest and I finished her book, and I tucked her all up in bed with chest rub.

What do you think?

Now here is something I am interested in hearing your opinion on: Last week, I had a stubborn sinus infection. It has been a long time since...
