When one gets to be her age often still living friends and family are few. Days alone without speaking to anyone can result in excessive talking when an opportunity presents itself I expect. Some singles refrain from calling others.pr even texting if digitally competent, so as to not intrude on others busy lives, remembering how their own life once was. If they're lucky, someone calls them occasionally but generally not. I hate to see stories lost!

Ellie K. Over at beefgravy.blogspot.com, he has been typing up a story from his father's own hand back before his parents married. It's riveting really, and in my opinion, the wonderful thing about this thing is that every time he prints an excerpt, there are so many readers fascinated by this story. I am quite willing to bet that you could write up a collection of your stories and post them on a family blog, and everyone would be delighted to read them. You should try it!

I think it would be lovely to have Miss W sit down and tell her stories, but her hands are pretty arthritic. I think it was Ed that suggested a while back that we tape stories. That sounds like a lovely thing to do and digital tape recorders are not expensive these days.

Debbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531125606268748793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3721950935860033351.post-35073970499780036062021-04-13T12:27:39.527-04:002021-04-13T12:27:39.527-04:00I am amoung the oldest grand child and have memori...I am amoung the oldest grand child and have memories the younger ones like to hear. Some days something comes to my mind and I end up writing a nice FB of what I remember. I have about 30 cousins on FB so they seem to enjoy my memories and encourage me to write more. When I was a teen-ager babysitting and doing odd jobs, I always quoted slightly below what I wanted to get, because I knew I'd be dickered up by my customers. This is the first that I've ever heard of it as falling apart. Tim's company provided compressors for this pipeline, and he's been very interested in following the project. Probably a quarter of her monthly income goes back to Medicare and a supplemental policy she has. I tried to point out that the supplemental insurance is probably something she could do without. She is very fearful of some sudden health crisis which will drain her financially. The idea that she could have tossed $100 or more into the recycle bin shocked her. This is a small fortune to someone living on her tiny income.

Debbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531125606268748793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3721950935860033351.post-21753446429263667622021-04-13T09:40:58.176-04:002021-04-13T09:40:58.176-04:00It's great that you're keeping an eye on h...It's great that you're keeping an eye on her.
