I've just been reading all your recent entries. I am speechless and can well understand your early frustrations before you managed to get a doctor to take it seriously. I hope that everything gets sorted with Tim very quickly and that your worries can cease.
Checked in just now not expecting an update to find this. I am so concerned for you all. Thanks for the updates it is appreciated by all of us. I know this kind of situation is terrifying for everyone involved. You will get to the other side of it one step at a time.
Oh my what a shock! Now that they know what is going on, there is hope that steps can be taken to make him better. My dad had a series of mini strokes many years ago, and the doctors were able to give him medicine and some minor surgery to gradually make them stop. He was in his late 70's and lived many more years after that. I will be thinking about you both and that dear boy William.
Goodness! As you learned, those are really hard to determine outwardly. People seem a little off, but when you talk to the doc, they seem ok. (I had a lady come to the hospital 3 times before we could catch it, but that was 15 years ago.) Glad he's getting good care, exams and tests to determine why that was happening. Hopefully they can fix his c-diff and coughing lungs while you're there. Like cars: carburetor cleaned out, muffler relined, and air filter spruced up. Be sure and write your questions down for when the doc comes to his room. Prayers said for the two of you! Linda in Kansas
I'm glad you're already in the hospital and the strokes can be dealt with quickly and appropriately. But otherwise, a shitstorm and I'm so sorry about that. :(
Well, not the diagnosis you expected (or wanted) but at least he can get proper treatment now, and for his lungs too. Keeping strong for Tim and your family will be hard on you, so (((HUGS))) Debby.
Was hoping to check in this morning to news that he was home and on the mend. Glad they're figuring things out and getting him full of fluids and medicine. Take care of yourself; thinking of all of you...
Thinking of Tim, you and all the family. Hoping Tim gets the best medical care possible. Mary
