Nuts

Julie Green is a prophet. God told her that King Charles murdered the Queen for the crown. Of course, she also claims that President Biden is dead and that Barak Obama is running the country through a Joe Biden body double.

She could easily be dismissed as a religious nut wad except...

She is a spiritual advisor to Doug Mastriano, the Republican gubernatorial candidate who participated in the January 6th debacle. He also uses a white supremacist online group to attract followers. He vows to deregister every voter in Pennsylvania and make us all re-register to vote. He also says that he can decertify the votes from anywhere if he believes that there is any irregularity.

He is losing in the polls, but I still have a question. How can he only be losing by 10.4 points?

  2. Omigod! Debby, I can't begin to imagine this maniac as our governor. I'll be very anxious to learn how many votes he lost by, just praying he loses!

    1. I'll be glad when this election is over. I feel as if we'll be able to see whether our country is stepping back from the brink or marching right off of it.

  3. Sounds like the plot from a comedy show.

    1. It is more like a horror show. How people can even consider him as a governor is just mind boggling to me.

  4. Wait for the Trump Election show to return Debby. Do you think he will be selected again?

    1. At this point, they are saying that his major reason to run is to avoid prosecution. I shudder to think of it.

  5. Thankfully not my problem but who is to say we won't have similar in the future.

  6. Yesterday as I was sitting in traffic, I noticed a pickup truck with a giant sticker applied to it's tailgate. The sticker showed Biden tied up in the back of the truck bed. It saddens me that the world has come to this where everyone has to be so divisive with a "you are either with me or against me" mentality. Why can't we go back to bumper stickers with the last name of the candidate and call it good.

  7. It is a scary thought that they walk among us. It is almost enough to make me leary of going out into crowds for fear that their madness will manifest itself into a mass shooting or someother hysterical action.

    1. I have a bit of hope seeing that there is now a steadily growing willingness to come right out and say it: These people are a threat.

  8. Astonishing, isn't it? I've seen similar conspiracies touted online -- particularly fears about Obama covertly running the country, which is just plain ol' racism. (And idiocy!)

At the end of the day, I fault our educational system. (NOT teachers, but the system and the structure as a whole.) If Americans are falling for this stuff in such high numbers, they're just not getting a decent education.

    1. Parents have even more power to mold a child's mind. The school system can work no better if the parents are constantly waging legal battles.

  11. I'm dismayed by ALL the major party candidates. It's why I've voted third party in the past two presidential elections. I don't see the choices in the next one looking any better. It seems there's no such thing as a moderate anymore.

    1. I just find it unbelievable that people can't even see the insanity. 15 years ago we would have seen this as crazy talk. Now people don"t even seem to register that this bullshit is abnormal

  14. There are clearly so many prophet sort of frauds out there. I wonder how they decided that was the gig for them, and I wonder who would be daft enough to believe them.
