Today was a pretty quiet day. King Richard has waited many years so I will expect he can hold for another day. I have succumbed to a pretty nasty gastro bug.
poor Colin has taken the week off, and I feel as if I have wasted it.
I don't worry so much in England but in most other countries, I always stick strictly to bottled water (in which I physically unsealed the cap) and I always take some imodium pills with me just in case so I can carry on.
The regular treatments don't seem to have any effect. Drinking lots of water. Today I had 4 crackers and a piece of toast and a banana. This is horrible.
It hasn't been. Today will be better, I think. I am on the other side at this point. I was hoping that this was some bacterial thing I picked up on the way over...but it seems as if my daughter has it now.
Get better soon. I am sure Richard won't mind you missing him today, now that he is out of the car park and into the cathedral.
ReplyDeleteOh No = what a horrible thing . Get well soon
ReplyDeleteOoh, nasty
ReplyDeleteI hope you get over it quickly.
Yes, you should have been much more considerate in choosing when you got ill.

ReplyDeleteHope you get well quickly! That's always a risk when traveling.
ReplyDeleteI bet it won't keep you down for long.
ReplyDeleteSurely London has Pepto Bismol. Drink water, maybe bottled water? Linda in Kansas

ReplyDeleteOh no! Terrible timing! I hope it's short-lived.
