Oh. hey...

The shortest day of the year! My seester's birthday! Christmas around the corner!

So much excitement.

There's another one...Tim's last day of work will fall between March 11th and the 18th.

He's as happy as he can be. Come January 1st, he'll have enough vacation to turn those weeks into four day weeks.

He's as ready to be done as I am.

By the time you read this, I'll be down to 24 days.

Whoot~

  2. And our longest day of the year. With daylight saving, dark about 9pm. Light, sometime early that I don't see.

  4. I was supposed to retire next year but we'll see how things play out. I can imagine how happy you will be to leave your workplace. The company you work for is very poorly run with regards to how it treats it's staff.

I'm glad the days will be getting longer again. Now if we could just get rid of the cold:)

  9. My last day was to be November 10th. I expect that they will extend. I'm not signing on. I'm done. Headed to see my son and DIL and grand daughter. Bigger plans set for February, unless covid rains on my parade.

  10. Congrats to you both! As difficult as your job sounds, be sure you put in all that paperwork and written notices to the mean guys at the top. I've known folks to miss the mandatory notification by a day, and didn't receive many hours of Paid Time Off due to them. Exit carefully! Linda in Kansas

  11. I'm (technically)contracted to the company. I get no benefits. That's a more important consideration for Tim but he has a union to make sure that things go as they should there. In my case, I foresee them having a meeting, extending our last day. They will come around and ask who's staying on. I'll tell them I'm not.
