True Story

AAAAAIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Back spasms!

I was coming down the dark hall when Tim came out of the living room, scared the wits out of me, since I had not heard him come in the door. Of course, when I jumped, it set off my back yet again.

"Don't do that...." I said, stiff and gasping. He stared at me dumbfounded.

What did I do to myself?  I had bent down to put on a pair of slipper socks....how pathetic is that?

  2. At least you know what you did. I have pains sometimes and have no clue why.

  3. It often doesn't take much. You have my sympathies but it wasn't Tim's fault.

  4. Support support support. Place one hand on chair or wall when bending down, more for stability than support.

  5. Oh no, I wasn't blaming Tim. I knew it was the blasted socks.

  6. Socks are dangerous. Hope the spasms depart soon.

  7. Those slipper socks are dangerous litle b*******s. You put them on at your peril. Hope your back is feeling better soon. Perhaps Tim could prove how much he's sorry by giving you a soothing back massage with aromatic oils as scented candles fill the darkened room with exotic aromas.

  8. My wife apparently has your same fright complex. I can be sitting in a room for an hour reading a book and she will walk in and jump with fright if she wasn't expecting me.

  9. He was out hunting. He had come home without me noticing. You will see me on some true crime thing someday. The detectives will all be wondering how I didn't notice the killer had walked into the house. You all will know...

  10. Oh dear. That hurts. Sometimes rolling over in bed or coughing can do the same to me. Sigh. I had no idea getting older would be so painful:)

  13. I've had quite a few spasms that are painful and debilitating for a few days. It's gamey today, so as a precaution, I will probably skip exercise class.
