A bloody miracle.

One of the things about Friday's finger fiasco was the amount of blood. Yet, for all the blood everywhere, what was most notable was where it wasn't. Tim had selected white rugs for the bathroom when we replaced them a couple months ago, and on the drive back home, once the panic had settled (and before I realized I'd left a pot on the stove), I was dreading the sight of those rugs. 

Not a single drop.

  5. For the second time this morning as I catch up on blogging after my normal weekend abstinence plus a holiday thrown in, I feel like I jumped into the middle of something. I'm going to have to hit the "Older Post" link to figure out the rest of the story.

  9. Wow! You’ve had exciting times, a near miss to make it even more exciting. Glad it wasn't worse, plus your white rugs spared. The resistance to masks for our kids is ridiculous and dangerous.
