It was sickening to watch, but even worse are the people who approved of it. Perhaps they need to move to a different country with no Constitution or rule of law?
Here’s hoping those in that small but vocal and cowardly group who did what they did yesterday will, in fact, all pick up and move to the whatever anarchist country will take them. It was encouraging to see Congress reconvene last night. It was more encouraging to see some of Trump’s most loyal finally put distance between him and them (the emperor really did have no clothes). To them I say you’re a little late, but welcome back to sanity. I’m all in favor of invoking the 25th Amendment or impeachment, but whatever the case, he’s gone in 13 days. Any good he might have done has been erased and he will leave office in disgrace. As he should.
I saw it on our news channel and am absolutely appalled.
