Do you ever wonder what it would be like to have cat friends and dog friends...

The words of the day:

Finally:
Something has been bothering me a lot, and I am going to say it outright. The elections have made it clear to me that we have a great many contentious people in this country. It seems as if we miss no opportunity to debate and argue. What about this? That we simply take a vow this holiday season that we will not argue with others. If they say 'Happy Holidays,' or 'Happy Hanukkah', or 'Happy Kwanzaa', we will not pick apart their words, but look at the sincerity of their greeting. If we wish to say 'Merry Christmas' in return, then say it, but let our greeting be sincere and kind.

Let us, for the season, become men and women of good will.

A good word Debby. It's also time for BOTH SIDES to meet somewhere in the middle and keep us from falling off this fiscal cliff. The election is OVER so it's time to stop CAMPAIGNING and do something!

I'm trying my best to meet in the middle. I'm just everlastingly tired of arguing. About everything. We don't have to. We shouldn't. We can disagree, but we can also accept the fact that we see things differently. Without name calling and fingerpointing.

Don't know how Louie slipped through. This is a bad sign, for sure...

I hear you on the political arguing fatigue... It does get old. The art of compromise is called an art for a reason, right? Here's to some peace for us all during the holidays and beyond.
