William, as Promised.

Little teeny tiny baby toes.

The only thing cuter is two little baby feet.

Little teeny tiny baby ears are cute.

Little teeny tiny baby cheeks.
Sleeping babies.
Cute. Cute. Ca-ute!
This is the long awaited William.
Born February 18th, at 00:51 AM.
8 pounds 13 oz.
21 inches long.
I don't know nuthin' about being no grandma, William.
But I will try my best.

Mother and aunt. Auntie is reminding William that she is the young and cool aunt. And that she will always have gum. And that he should not get too big to hold before she returns from Korea in August.
Mother telling William that Cara is not as cool as all that.
William trying to ignore the fuss.
Father and grandfather.
You may now comment on what a sweet and adorable grandbaby we have.
*waits expectantly*

Almost makes me wanna have another...but not quite! :) I've been told that being the GRANDparent is definitely the way to go! He's super cute, Debby! Congrats!

He is just so cute and so filled out and healthy looking. Being a grandma comes very easy or it did to me and I love every minute of it. Two of mine call me grandma and two call me gram. Really they could have called me whatever they wanted.

Being a Gramma is like getting to love your own babies all over again. But there should be a law that kids cannot move their grandkids farther than a 50 mile radius of the home of the grandparents. A Law, I say, a Law!

*blink*

I did well? Me?!!!! I didn't do anything at all except admire him. He's my grandson. Mama did all the work!

That's the best part of being a grandma Deb - not doing so much of the hard stuff. You can now thoroughly and unapologetically "enjoy". And I am sure you will.
All the best to all there - a busy week for you all. And also special wishes and good luck to Cara on her future posting - may it be a great experience, both learning and your fair share of other enjoyment to take home with you in time.

What a wonderful pictorial ... one you'll cherish as much as the rest of us enjoy. He is awesome, and has phenomenal toes.

He is indeed one cute little dude, Debby. Congratulations for your arrival into grandmahood. My spell checker tells me that "grandmahood" ain't a real word. Don't care. Congratulations, I said.

And remember, the reason grandparents and grandchildren get along so well is that they have a common enemy. Har.

And that little guy has some HAIR. I'm kinda jealous.

Debby said...

LOL, Hal. And yes. He's got a head of hair. He can also register a complaint like none other. Are those two things related? I don't know, but Tim's a pretty quiet guy. Very little hair. I think he needs to ratchet it up a notch. Experiment a little...

Oh, and thanks for all the comments on his cuteness! It's almost like someone told you to say all these wonderful things...a grandma with a large stick, something like that.

Beautiful, congratulations!!!

Apparently, my thoughts are NOT original, but concur whole-heartedly! Well done! Parents, Grandparents, uncles and aunts! William: Look out, buddy! You're apparently in for a life of being well loved and looked after!

OH! PS: Nothing beats grandkids! You have some fun in the role of Grandma, Grandma! There are never enough hugs and kisses to be shared.
