Burned Out

Cannot bring myself to study any more or care any less. I am ashamed, but it's the way of it. Totally burned out.

There is no shame in reaching your limit. As for burning out...if you are burning out now, you're working too hard at this thing. The fate of the entire world is not dependent upon you getting a 4.0 avg.

Pace yourself...so that if you feel burn out it will be during that last semester before graduation. Not before.

Just don't do as I did and take Phonetics as one of your last classes. lol

Take it easy. I've just found you. I know people here care about you.

You are allowed to sign off from study for a breather.
Look after yourself!

Uh, you're ALLOWED. How can you be such a brainiac and such an eejit at the same time? (I say this with love and respect.) You are running around like a chicken with its head cut off most of the time. When I read about all that you do, well the mind boggles (and I get tired just thinking about it.) Give yourself permission to just relax now and again. It's okay. It's called "the holidays" for a reason.

Definition of Holiday:
"A day of festivity or recreation when no work is done."

Definition of Recreation:
"Activity done for enjoyment when one is not working."

See a pattern here? Seems pretty clear to me. Don't make me come down there and beat you with my happy stick. Lucky for you I'm snowed in.

Have a lovely rest Deb - hope it refreshes you. We also send you many many wishes for a lovely Christmas together. We are going AWOL - on a big ship. Hope the sea is nice to us! It will be good anyway - when I get this darn packing finished!
We wish you all the very best for the start of 2011. Perhaps it will be warmer by then!! All the best for your results also. I am sure they will only be good. Love Barb x
