Different Day

Well, yesterday is yesterday, and today I'm studying for the midterm. I'm looking at this stuff and trying to put it all together in my head. It is the first test we've had in this class, and the first test I've had from this particular teacher, so there are a lot of unknowns here.

Yesterday, I felt competent and smart. Today, however, I feel as if I set my smarts down someplace and promptly forgot where I put them.

Eee.

I haven't got them, Deb - but I am sure they will find you - hopefully BEFORE you finish the test. Good luck!!!

I'll help you find yours if you'll help me find mine. Perhaps we should learn to hang them up where we put our car keys. Then we'll solve two problems at once.

I'm sure you have enough smarts on reserve to do the job.

Gawd, your smarts are there in plain sight ;)

The day before a test often feels that way for me. You've got take a big breath and remind yourself of what you've already accomplished and what you already know. They're still there, you've just set a stack of insecurities on top of them.
