A post about Nothing.

Cara will be studying abroad next spring, at the University of Daegu in South Korea. For all her squalling about wanting to see the great wide wordl, she was surprisingly low key about it. I've been to Daegu, myself. Her father and I met in Korea actually.

I've studied for that final tomorrow. Don't know how confident I am about my own abilities, but I'm tired, and I have a corker headache, and so I am off to bed.

What were you and Cara's father doing in Korea? Our last exchange student was from South Korea. We hope to visit him in his homeland one day.

I'm not underwhelmed. Just scared shitless. Life changes never come easily, sadly. I'll be sacrificing alot for a great unknown. And it's the not knowing part that is the most terrifying.

The wordl is an intimidating place sometimes. It can be crazy big and scary or way too small and far too boring depending on the day. And right this second it's seeming to be the first option. Oh well.. It's just the next great frontier in my life. And there's never been a front I couldn't conquer.

Good luck to both you and Cara. Sometimes climbing a mountain gives the opportunity for the best and widest view. Love and best wishes to you both. Barb
