Where are my fireflies?

I can't sleep for spit tonight. The wind is howling. The dog is pacing. Tim is snoring to beat the band. This song keeps dancing through my head. It makes me smile every time that I hear it, but it's especially appropriate tonight. I got a lot accomplished today. I'm far too tired to fall asleep. I'd also like to make myself believe that this planet earth turns slowly.

This earth turns at the rate of one rotation per day. Sounds pretty slow to me. If you are standing near one of the poles, you will hardly be moving at all - but if you are at the equator, you will be zipping at nearly 1000 mph.

Sounds like a fun night. I think those fireflies got blown away.

I had a 10 year old standing at my shoulder singing along to that!!

I prefer lesser known Rainbow Veins and Hot Air Balloon. Most of their songs are cute and perky sounding. I'm a big fan of Owl City.

And you think you're up late... It's 5:45AM and I'm still plugging away at a five page paper! Such is the life of a college student, I suppose.

Oh dear Lord... I just realized that you're awake and packing Tim's lunch right now, and I still have yet to go to sleep. How strange. It's going to be hard to readjust to your "timezone" when I come back for Christmas break.

This is my daughters favorite song. I must say though that it has really grown on me as well. It is just so up beat you can't help but smile when you hear it :o)

I wonder why I am losing my comments?!!!! So strange. And Cara...get thee to bed. No wonder you're always sick. And Bill? No. Pretty sure the world is moving faster. Chriatmas closes in at an alarming pace. And 'Salina? You sing it, sistah!

When I'm too tired I always have a hard time falling asleep. Did you get any part of the snow storm that hit Buffalo?
