Well happy birthday to Brianna! I have a 23 year old daughter and I can't figure out how that happened either since it was just yesterday or so that I followed her bus to her first day of Kindergarten.
I have a 25 year old granddaughter and I don't know how that happened either. My daughters are 46 and 47 and that is how old I should be! I got on Medi-care this year and just had all my top teeth pulled yesterday. I will be without for 6 weeks till I get the upper denture.Time has just flown by and I just don't feel this old.I guess the best we can do is enjoy each day and try to age gracefully.I read your blog every day and worry along with you about the cancer thing.I lost both my Daddy and my husband to that horrible disease.I had my female organs removed at age 27 because of cancer also.Keep writing..we are reading and learning and making this journey with you. best wishes. Doris
Bless your heart Doris! I'm trying to age gracefully. Since I have so little experience in doing anything gracefully, well...I guess I'm hhaving more problesms than most.I know, NW. It WAS yesterday!!!
Happy Birthday Brianna!!! Feels like yesterday I was 23 (instead of almost 20 years ago - GADS!!!)... when I was 23 I was studying journalism, about to head to a brand new town to work as a news photographer, had just won Miss Showgirl of Toowoomba (which is slightly more conservative than the Las Vegas version!) and basically had the world at my feet. Of course I didn't KNOW that then... all I saw was the odd pimple on my forehead, the lack in my bank balance and the frightening black hole beyond the safety of university... I wish Brianna a really great day, as well as some of the perspective on this point in her life (that I was missing at the same age!).HugsBB
Happy Birthday to Brianna! I am so glad that you have her in your life. Kids really are a blessing, except when they get older and make you realize how old you are... then, not so much. ha!My boy is going to be 23 -- I think I'm OK with him aging... don't know what I'll do when he's 30, I guess I have a few years to think on that.
Happy B'day Ms B! Debby, my oldest is 35....oh my gosh, I'm so old!
Happy Birthday Brianna!!My oldest is 29 and when people marvel at that I remind them that she's technically my stepdaughter (then add that I was 21 when she was born so she really could be mine).
My oldest turns 28 in October and while I remember most of the first 18, the last 10 have passed by in a blur....quid
comforting to be part of such a great group... my oldest turns 27 in October! and i don't know how that happened either...
