Radiation.

It feels like my chest has been roasting over an open fire. Strangely enough, it snowed yesterday, so I can also say that Jack Frost is nipping at my nose. I'm exhausted, even though I've done scarcely anything but paperwork at work. I came home to my empty house (Tim is on second shift) and fell asleep for two hours. I am having a reaction to radiation. I've got 12 more treatments. This will be over on April 24th.

Must. Find. Bed.

A lot has happened since I was here last. Going back to work, crimes in Podunk, USA, radiation burns, honors for Cara...gosh have I been gone that long? Hope you feel more rested tomorrow.

OOOOOOOOOHHHHH. That can't feel good at all. 16 more days. Is there anything they can give you for the "radiation" burn/reaction?

I remember my step-mom telling me how tough that part of treatment was for her, 15 years ago. Blessings. And I bet drinking a lot of water would be good, too. (Sorry! I'm such an advoate of drinking water! . . . ;-P

OK. Advocate. I'm also an advocate of spelling correctly--when my brain and fingers are co-existing as they're intended to do. *sigh*

Hang in there. I was told the fatigue during radiation was caused by your body working hard to repair cells damaged in treatment and by the cumulative fatigue caused by all the stress (treatment, surgery, etc) that you have been going through over the past months. Just take a daily nap - I am a firm advocate of naps.

Hang in there, Debby! I'm sorry it's gotten so bad here at the finish.

I'm glad you can still find humor. You made me smile with the Jack Frost comment!
