These hands have ripped out a fireplace this week.
I'm kind of proud of that.
They've also counted out 1000+ mosquitoes.
Collected a dead crow.
Did two larvacides.
The regular housework stuff.
And it is only Wednesday.
If idle hands are the devil's play thing,
my hands are not in any immediate danger.

Amen, sister.

Oh! I forgot to mention . . . And very nice looking hands at that! Your hands look no worse for the wear!!!! Looks like you just got a manicure. (Did you happen to wear gloves by any chance? My hand would have looked rather mangled after all that stuff your hands were doing.)

Nope. No manicure. Never had one in my life. Don't bother, because if I get to fretting about something, I'll bite them off. I do use a good nail hardener to protect them, and I can't stand gloves. I do have some scars. If you look closely, you will even see a chainsaw scar across the middle finger of my right hand. I have working hands.

Larvacide. What a fantastic word! Henceforth I shall use it whenever I describe my war on maggots!

i must admit to pedicures though, and quite honestly i wouldn't care if they forgot to paint my toenails, it's the foot massage i live for...

There you go, Stevyn. Always glad to help. BTW: if you ever declare war on the flies themselves, we in the biz refer to that as an adulticide.

Susan: Um. I'd be embarassed for someone to be messing with my feet.
