Buzzed

Today at work, I jogged down to collect a trap. I expected the net to be filled with mosquitoes, and I was not wrong. Much to my surprise, I heard the fan running even after I unhooked the battery. I touched the housing, but the motor was still. I realized what I was hearing was the hum of hundreds of mosquitoes.

Ooooooooooooooooooooh. Itch. and Ooooooooooooooooooh! I HATE that sound. So do you bathe in insect repellant or something? I would totally be the best mosquito bait.

Also, THANKS FOR THE HELP!

I got goosebumps just thinking of that!

PW: Don't tell Jeanie. I cannot use repellant while I'm trapping. It would be a given that repellant would get on the trap, which would defeat the whole purpose of the first two days of my week. I usually wear a long sleeved shirt.

Who woulda thought Pennsylvania would be such a mosquito haven? But then, who would have thought that the Arctic Circle would be either. I mean that's just bizzare!

My first boss, (after I married) was born/raised in Louisiana. During WWII he was stationed in Greenland somewhere up around the Arctic Circle. Told me once that the way you knew someone was "coming to call" on their installation was by the black cloud that surrounded them. The black cloud of MOSQUITOS that is. I just itch and cringe thinking of it. I figured that those super cold climates couldn't POSSIBLY sustain such diabolicle critters as mosquitos! How unfair is that anyway?

I'm so sorry to hear that you can't wear repellant. 'Course, it does make sense since you explained it an' all. What a brave woman you are--ALL the time!

But you go girl :)
Hey, your hands look good too! I wanna know, with all that you do, how do you keep them clean under the nails? How do you have nails anyway? I cannot seem to master this myself...

Mikey: For the good Lord's sake. YOU CATCH RATTLESNAKES!

My nails are clean right directly after a shower. This picture was taken right directly after a shower. Nail hardener. Each and every day.
